I lost a little bit of weight, finally picked back up on my education, and finally fixed my sleeping schedule. I still have a lot to go. Dealing with my mental issues has always been a struggle for me and it has been pretty hard for me to find a job these days, but at least there is music to keep me sane through it all. When I find music to listen to, I usually put on something that matches my current mood. I'd put on something fun or upbeat, maybe not necessarily happy, but enough to keep me happy.
When I'm sad, I usually seek out music that comforts me. Sad music works, but I don't want to listen to something so depressing or scary that it will ruin my day. Usually sad but comforting music works. These bands are in heavy rotation for me when I'm down but one I've been giving more attention is Death Cab for Cutie.
They're that one indie rock band that has always been under my radar for a while and while I have heard their music, mainly this album and We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes, it never really resonated too much with me.
